Biltmore Ballrooms Atlanta Wedding

The Biltmore Ballrooms is one of my favorite venues to photograph weddings, so I was excited to know where Kenisha and Cameron were getting married. Recent renovations have kept the Biltmore Ballrooms modern and a versatile venue while preserving its historic charm. The couple also hired an amazing team of vendors to make their dream wedding come true. Kenisha decided to do a priceless first look with her father before her wedding ceremony, the overall theme was a Butterfly Fairytale, and the decor by Akeem Clayton was magical. The couple danced on clouds during their first dance while cold sparklers by Uplight Your Event emitted in the background. This wedding was featured in Atlanta Style Weddings magazine under, “Kenisha & Cameron’s Butterfly Fairytale”.

Getting To Know Kenisha and Cameron

How did the two of you meet?

Cameron and I met on a dating app called Tinder in 2015. It was love at first swipe! Cameron had sent me a message on tinder and from there we continued to have text/phone conversations until we decided to meet in person on our first date.

What did you do for your first date?

Cameron and I met for the first time (in person) at Chipotle. While at Chipotle, we had very good conversations and made each other laugh nonstop. After eating, Cameron took me to the movies to see Ted 2. After the movies, we talked more and planned to see each other again for a second date. We both had a fun night!

Who proposed and how?

Cameron proposed to me on June 26th 2021 at my birthday celebration in front of my friends and family. My mom helped with the surprise proposal by gathering everyone for a group picture. After the picture was taken, my mom told me to turn around, and there Cameron was on one knee with the ring! It was the easiest yes! Everyone was overjoyed and excited.

What made you select The Biltmore Ballrooms for your wedding venue?

I always envisioned getting married and saying “I do” to my husband in a really elegant ballroom. As soon as I toured our venue, I fell in love with the decor of the ballroom and how magical I felt while being in there. I also selected an out-of-state venue to decrease the amount of people who might have shown up if it was in state. I have a very large family and Cameron and I knew we always wanted a small intimate wedding.

Lastly, when people reflect back on your wedding, what do you want them to say?

We want people to say how beautiful it was and how they felt like they was apart of a romantic love story. We would also like for them to say that the love we displayed between each other at the wedding, gave them hope and validation that true love still exists. Lastly, we would like for them to reflect on how much fun they had at the wedding.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

We are just so excited and grateful!
